This 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe caught my eye as it rolled past the onlookers that lined Springfield’s streets. This weekend was the 100th anniversary of the naming of Route 66, and the celebration was bigger and better than ever! It commemorated the historic meeting where the name "Route 66" was proposed, making Springfield the official birthplace of the highway.
