Several days of rain has the Grand River at flood level. As soon as I set up to shoot this scene, a snow squall hit, covering me and the camera in tiny snowballs. Fortunately, the Brown Dog Coffee Shoppe is beside that brightly lit restaurant, providing a great place to warm up and enjoy a freshly made apple fritter. Or two.
