Jyoti'S... on and off. :)
Innocent expectations in smiling eyes... :)
Saw this little angel in the park today. There were other kids playing in groups. This little girl was alone. She watched the other girls take turns on the swings... expectation and hope laden in her eyes. :)
I was there capturing twilight. Suddenly I caught her face on my viewfinder. :)
How I wanted to put her on one of the swings... but I knew better. After all... I was a mere stranger for her.
I watched from afar... as the expressions on her face kept changing like the patterns in a kaleidescope... from yearng to eager expectation... to surrender... to enjoyment. She kept moving closer and closer to the swings... A sad surrender lining her face... as though... she had given up hope... of ever being on one of those swings. :(
This was a rare moment... she suddenly smiled. :) Like a ray of light breaking out of dark clouds... her smile lit up her face. :)
Later her guardians came and helped her on to the swing. And the joy in her eyes and her echoing laughter on the swing... is indescribable. :)
