Common Spotted Orchid, Dactylorhiza fuchsii
Last year I requested Cardiff Council not to mow all the emerging orchids from this patch of meadow near our house, but to add it to their list of managed biodiversity areas. This year we’ve counted over 100 mainly CSO’s plus various other bee loving flowers & butterflies. Success!
