This hair straightener lights up as "off" when plugged in, so the user knows it is plugged in but not actually on. When the on button is pushed, the on and off lights alternate to indicate that the straightener is heating up. When it has finished heating, the light next to "on" stays steady. This feedback makes the straightener very easy to use.
