Fledgling Tern

This white tern exhibits the webbed and clawed feet of an arboreal nesting seabird. Almost fledged, it takes its first wing strengthening flights between the branches of a monkeypod tree while still relying on its parents to return from the sea with a meal of fresh fish or squid.
