Kai Moana

'Kai Moana' is Maori for seafood - this mirror started with the paua tiles in the lower right hand, and the spirula shell set in resin in the top left.

 

It was intended for my first mosaic exhibition, but a couple bought it as we were hanging the mosaics, and it now lives somewhere in British Columbia, from memory!

 

Other materials are mini glass gems, iridised glass tiles, stained glass, glass gems, smashed windscreen glass.
