My Main Altar Left Goddess Side 707
This is what has become my Goddess side of my altar. I was thinking that I would change the Goddess statue as the seasons change, but for some reason it just really wants to stay as it is.
Items:
A Brigid plaque by Dryad Designs. In front of it is an orange-red crystal that reminds me of a little bit of fire.
You can see a Venus of Willendorf figurine to the far right of the picture, that is actually more a part of the center of the altar, I bought her in a store in Salem called Goddess Treasures.
The statue you see on the far left is a Willow Design statue called Gratitude that was a gift to myself. She has a white swan near her because Swan was one of my first discovered totems and has been with me ever since I first dedicated myself to the path of paganism. It has a deeper meaning and ties into the day I dedicated myself to my Gods and it also ties in with the pagan name I used to go by many years ago. It is also something that a long lost friend gave me for my birthday about 6 years ago.
There is also a small crystal bowl in front of the statue that contains some shells that were gifts from friends. And she has a large piece of celestite which ties into the gentleness of the sea, of healing and of memories that echo this part of my altar perfectly.
Slightly cut off in the bottom of the left hand side of the picture is a ceramic leaf that was made especially to hold joss sticks. I bought it from a place called Harnett's in Harvard Square (sadly this lovely store is no more) and when I light cones or joss sticks they are placed on/in this.
A nice generic green leaf style candle holder that I purchased from Walgreen's years back. It was part of their fall line.
