Wanted to go in this place for AGES :-) We got lucky and security escorted us around and the highlight was opening up the Pit head bath's :-) Oh we could have spent hours here :-) We were so lucky the site is dangerous and 24 hour CCTV thats the business !!
I had a major adrenalin rush !!!
The ex miner who took us around told me all the Miners paid £8000 to keep Tower open for 14 years :-) not a bad return for 14 years salary !!!
