Addiction inspired fabrics

A few fabric samples- my ideas that link to the everyday. Using literally everyday fabrics i found- i created clothing that could represent addiction- for example the burnt holes represent the damage caused by smoking. However it created an organic look that also inspired me to continue on and create some rather interesting layers of fabrics that were appealing to eye. Even though they are mock ups- and rough ideas- they still followed down a close path to the well known steampunk and victorian styles
