Marci Ansen
10 years composite
10 years ago this month (I missed the date, OK, other stuff going on around then...) I had my first makeover, at a place (now sadly out of business in Newtown called The MakeUp Store, run by the fabulous Emma-Lee.
I was so damn nervous going in there, but she quickly put me at ease, and I spent a wonderful couple of hours seeing just how Marci could look, with the right skills.
10 years and a few days later, that's me, all my own work. Years of practice, figuring out what MU and wigs and outfits work (I still use some of the original products that Emma Lee recommended, including Ben Nye creams for highlights and contouring).
Anyway (if I do say so myself) not bad for 10 years down the track. Though OMG, they've gone so damn fast!
