Flooring Separation

I am being really picky about which pieces of flooring can go through the entryway and kitchen. I don't want any knots of large variation going through the kitchen cabinets. So..... my job is to open up all the boxes and separate out the good pieces from bad pieces. I'm losing about 50% out of each box. The 'bad' stuff will start getting woven in in the back rooms
