101 032 Fahlenbach (4901)
Nach wie vor verrichtet die Baureihe 101 auch beim München-Nürnber-Express zuverlässig ihren Dienst. Eigentlich sollte sie schon von den neuen Skoda Loks der Baureihe 109 samt Doppelstockwagen abgelöst sein, deren baldige Betriebsaufnahme zeichnet sich jedoch noch nicht ab. Am 06. Januar 2017 konnte ich 101 032 mit ihrem RE 4013 nach München bei Fahlenbach in der Hallertau ablichten.
The class 101 engines are still in service at the so-called Munich-Nuremberg-Express, Germany's fastest regional train. Meanwhile they should be replaced by the new class 109 engines from Skoda, but it does not occur to me these locomotives are going to service during the next time. I took this picture near Fahlenbach at the track between Ingolstadt and Munich on the 06th of January 2017 - DB's 101 032 is heading southerly with it regional express 4013.
