Our study abroad program, IFSA-Butler, planned an amazing trip for us in Bathurst, Australia. Bathurst is a small country town mostly filled with farmers. I stayed with an elderly family who farmed sheep and vegetables. They were awesome and showed us around the country side. I got to see wild kangaroos, and I drove on the world famous Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit! However, the best part of our trip was meeting their pet kangaroo, Skippy! He was only about 9 months old and very playful. Altogether, my country life weekend was an amazing experience! Anchor down!!
