oscar's sitting

I walked into the living room and there he was..motionless as a statue..right on the blanket in the other photo (which, in itself is not unusual)..so I took a chance and went after my camera, not knowing if he would be there when I got back..not only was he THERE, he was still in the same position...I aimed the trusty Nikon and said his name a couple of times and he turned to look at me perfectly..I got 3 or 4 shots of really good material, but had to pick one..now, if there is a family ham, it's HIM. And I honestly think Oscar thinks he IS the only dog. It hit me one day..all the others take notice of who is in my lap, if there isn't a current vacancy, they hover in line till there is..they take turns sort of. Not Oscar..he settles in wherever and whenever he cares to. In NO WAY could he be described as aggressive. Quite the opposite. He is very much the gentleman, more like my quiet Joshua. I just think Oscar thinks he is my REAL DOG, and all the others are just "pretenders" whom he graciously allows to be in the area.

Or, maybe not..one never really knows.
