Hudson St in Lower Manhattan's TriBeCa district.That buff-colored building on the right (next to fire escapes) is the 1880 Roebling Building.It's named after the John Augustus Roebling,architect of the Brooklyn Bridge.The "Roebling" name (not shown) is on the parapet on top of the building in great,bronze lettering.Roebling's sons ran and expanded their father's wire rope business from this building,then a warehouse,shipping steel cables and ropes.The building was converted to a 12-unit condominium.John "P.Diddy"Combs once owned a condo apt here.
