Top of the Rock
Shot was taken from the 70th floor Observation Deck at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, the deck is known as the Top Of The Rock.I've never been to this place.I've walked right passed the building a several times,but I never went in.The last time I passed it was when I took the photo of the Christmas tree you saw back in December.I thought to make a trip of it this time around.I bought my $34 dollar ticket ($30+tx) at a kiosk at the place.You go up in an elevator that shows you a short video of the place.You get off on the 67th floor,from there you can walk up higher to the 70th floor for optimal skyline views,a Bird's eye view at best.There are security guards posted up there telling people not to sit on this or that,no seats up there.Although the temperature was in the 30s,surprisingly the roofs were well heat-ventilated.Hope you like...uh,fave :-)
