Isla Lobos, Galapagos
Blue-footed boobies on an uninhabited island on Galapagos. Here one recognizes that Galapagos is an archipelago of tame animals. Only a few people are allowed to enter these islands for a short time. Also, no large ships are allowed. The blue-footed boobies have an interressant pairing ritual. The male leads the female to the shore. There it bowed, spreading the wings, and alternately lifting the beautiful sky-blue feet. The blue feet play an important role, they are very proud of it. - My favorite animals on this trip -
