Wheel Bug

Ran into my first wheel bug at the rookery. Hard to tell from this angle but it has a cog-like projection like a circular saw blade that raises up from its back that gives it that name. It is the largest assassin bug. It is considered beneficial in the garden as it eats other insects. However be careful, it gives a very painful bite if you try to handle it.
