I fell in love with photography in high school, spending more time in the dark room than in the class room. But after college I set my camera aside to pursue a career and family. Twenty some-odd years later a co-worker sparked my interest in photography again and I purchased my first dSLR (a Nikon D80) in March 2007.
I’m still (obviously) a novice, so I end up learning something every time I shoot. But I enjoy the journey. Any honest feedback and critiquing of my work is always welcome because it helps me grow.
Although I’ve lived in Oklahoma for many years, I still consider Texas home. Raised on a family farm, I find my favorite subjects to be barns, windmills, and God’s unbelievable sunsets.
Check back often because I hope to post better work as the months progress.
