somehow the purchase of a fuji X-pro 1 and 2 lenses has made a complete creative change for me. I approach things the same and take the same type of photograph - doubt that will ever change.
but the new camera - I guess I will say this way - is the one I have been looking for and finally found. while all the others are looking into video and pixels Fuji made a camera for landscape photographers and I am now very enthused. sure it has it problems - you can read the attacks for yourself - but Canon and Nikon have honestly taken a rear seat when it comes to cameras for photographers.
if anyone reads this I say - check it out and see if I am right. view my stuff and their stuff in large and original and see if I am right. i have not even used raw at this point(adobe and fuji seem to have trouble playing in the same sandbox)
MBzz rulezz
1) the shots are right out side your door, they beckon you
2) always turn around and go back when you see your shot
3) if you do not take your shot, you will not have it to show your friends and family and yourself
4) always look 360 degrees at sunrise and sunset, what is behind you might be better than what is in front of you.
5) never rush even if you miss the shot, you must have the
proper approach
6) have a childlike sense of wonder
7) wander God's creation with aweeeee
8) seek the light and the photo will find you
9) always have a camera that works or you will definately
miss the shot
10) the camera you have is better than the one you want to
have when you see the shot
11) tripod and remote shutter cord are not wishful thinking -
they are necessity
so where do all these rulezz come from -nowhere. who am i to make up rulezz for photography - i'm nobody in particular but these are my rulezz just the same....
