This site is kind of a sketchbook/online storage space for everything I take. There is no cohesiveness or narrative arc to the presentation. The earliest photos on here are from when I first picked up a camera. Some day I'll make a real website with only my best material.

Taking photos for me is an exercise in finding beauty in everything, in training my eye, in documenting my experiences, and in remaining involved & detached concurrently.

The only edits I ever make to photos are things one could easily do in a darkroom. I'm too lazy for Photoshop, and also kinda not that interested in it as it relates to most of what I do. No disrespek to those for whom it's a conduit of art.

Almost everything here is 35mm film with a Minolta SRT. One time I bought a Canon 5D. It was great. Then it was stolen. Haha! Might get another someday. It's okay though, because I still think nothing is sexier than film grain.
