I have been interested in photography since I was a in junior high. My freshman year in HS (years and years ago) I took a class and loved it. Truth be told, the darkroom was my favorite part - seeing my work come alive on that paper. Anyway, when it came time to choose a major in college, I was good at accounting, but really loved photography. My father urged me to choose something "safe" where I knew I could make a living - accounting. Well, I did that and it is safe to say that I still love photography. I quit my job in accounting a few years ago to stay at home with our son and picked up the camera again.

In the fall of 2008 I started my photography business and I'm looking forward to this being my career for a long time to come.
