Globe-trotting, torturing orchids, collecting ancestors, tooling around in cool cars, swapping tales of adventure - striving to be the prototypical bon vivante. When I'm queen for the day, I can chip ice off of glaciers or pack snow into my cup to make the perfect Hunter S. Thompson snow cone - with Dewars. I relish exposing fraud and glorifying good, helping others that can't advocate for themselves (because I can) and I wake up every day feeling like the luckiest gal in the world. I like real people, deplore fools and admire hard work. I am a super-patriot and my military childhood is the cause of my wanderlust. I am in awe of the unconditional love of our furry children (Winnie, Hannah & Curry) and am grateful to my husband for tolerating my packed bags and extravagant travel & technology budgets. I give thanks to God for keeping me around so long and for His much appreciated Divine inspirations. I have never aged a day past twelve and have no intention of getting into a second childhood since I never left my first. My final wish is to come back in my next lifetime as me (or one of my pets). And yes, I will still tilt the same windmills. Some people just never learn.....
