I started taking photographs of my family years ago and as my kids got into more & more school sports I started shooting them in their various activities. Over time I acquired equipment suitable for shooting indoor basketball & volleyball.

At some point I realized I wanted to redevelop my right brain, creative side, which had atrophied by decades of left brained corporate work days, so I choose to photograph & learn from others. Joining several weekly theme groups & contributing is something I have started doing recently as part of a discipline of learning & contributing.

Photography is one of two of my passions, road cycling being the other.
