I enjoy taking photographs of anything that looks artistic and beautiful in shape or colour. I strive to capture the beauty of nature in my images.
I enjoy looking at other people's beautiful and creative images from all over the world. Hopefully people will enjoy the beautiful things that I have photographed and share in the beauty of this world. Feedback on any of my photo images and any corrections is very much appreciated! :-)
I am a retired chemistry/science teacher who has always had a love for nature. I have been interested in natural history photography since I received my first camera when I was twelve years old. My father was my first great inspiration and a continuing inspiration, as he is an amateur photographer with many years experience.
I went over to digital photography in 2006 and am impressed by the versatility of digital photography!
I now mainly use a Canon 700D with the standard 18-55 mm and 100 mm lens. Many of the pics were taken with the low budget but versatile Fujifilm Finepix S5600 digital camera. I now take many images with my Samsung S23 phone and GoPro camera. Also many thanks to kind friends in the past, for letting me borrow their Canon lenses. :-)

My World
I see beauty through my eyes in,
The blue of the sky,
The green of the grass,
The sparkling sea
The patterns all around,
A loving smile.
I feel beauty in,
The touch of a friends hand,
A warm hug,
The warmth of the sun,
A warm breeze on my face.
I hear beauty in,
The sound of flowing water,
Birds in cheerful song,
The wind rustling leaves,
Honest and trustworthy words,
A friends greeting,
Kind words,
Innocent laughter.

Mon Monde
Mes yeux voient la beauté dans
Le bleu du ciel,
Le vert de l'herbe,
La mer étincelante
Les formes tout autour,
Un sourire d'amour.
Je sens la beauté dans
Le contact d'une main amie,
Un chaleureux câlin,
La chaleur du soleil,
Une brise chaude sur mon visage.
J'entends la beauté dans
Le son de l'eau qui coule,
Dans le chant joyeux des oiseaux,
Le vent qui bruisse dans les feuilles,
Les paroles sincères et dignes de confiance,
Le salut d'un ami,
Des paroles aimables,
Un rire innocent.
