Blue Hour on the Alvord

I was leading a workshop last weekend out here in the Alvord Desert, one of the most remote areas in Oregon which is saying something. We had an incredible time the weather was perfect for camping, but a little too clear for photography, we still made the most of it. I've never seen stars so bright, there isn't a town for many miles so there is zero ambient light to interfere, made for incredible camping.

This does not compare with the conditions I saw last time I was here, but it was just as much fun.
