YPDR Marine Protection

Good news on our Marine Restoration Program! We met with the new Barangay Captain of Pooc, Hon. Andrea Ilustrisimo, to discuss the protection of marine sanctuaries in our area. Madelyn Rayco, YPDR Admin Manager, also recently attended the Barangay Council's coordination meeting on proper implementation of policies regarding Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). On our part, we have started making buoys to mark the edges of the MPAs for the information of fishermen and other boatmen.
