In 2009 Volvo Olympian/Alexander RL 16714 (N714LTN) left its home of Stagecoach North East for pastures new where it entered service with Preston. During its North West adventure, it served with Lillyhall and Barrow. 16714 has now returned to the North East region, being donated to a local school in the Newcastle area where it is to be converted into a mobile library.
16714 underwent refurbishment during its time at Lillyhall with new flooring and highback seats - although I would expect the majority of its seats to be removed for its next chapter of its life.
