The initial sunset light warms up the clouds and virga over the Indian Peaks on a peaceful early evening. What struck me about this scene was the near absence of cool blue that is so characteristic of this view- the warm tones dominated the sky and landscape, giving a unique and serene feel.
This moment of peace is something we all need so badly now, with the pandemic, crazy politics and the election, and catastrophic fires and floods. Hopefully this will bring you a brief respite from the stresses that plague us, and know that this too shall pass.
