This wall, along Starr Street, was painted by Gaia and rgentinian native, Brooklyn-based artist Adrian Sonni in 2013.
Gaia, a New York-native, Baltimore-based streetartist, whose name derives from the Greek designation for “earth goddess,” got his start wheat-pasting linoleum block prints in Bushwick, Williamsburg and Chelsea as a high schooler in 2007. While studying at the Maryland Institute College of Art, he developed an interest in the evolution of urban neighborhoods, and began incorporating portraits of controversial urban developers.
