I am going through the remaining frames of that Delta film I shot with the M3. This one I quite liked.
It was almost certainly shot wide open and the Summicron handled itself very well at f/2. You can actually read the beginning of the left column of that newspaper.
There's maybe a hint of outlining in the background (on the left, near the lamp). That would probably be gone by f/2.8.
Shot on Delta 100 and developed in Adonal/Rodinal (1+25 for 9 minutes). This is the type of shot where the choice of developer didn't help and a lower acutance/lower grain combination would have perhaps worked better.
