One For The Ages

On that early October day last year, it was almost miraculous. Half a dozen of these White-Striped Sphinx Moths appeared in one small section of one garden. I've never seen anything like it, and perhaps won't again.

 

Taking advantage of Mom Nature's gift, I photographed these 'hummingbird moths' as if there were no tomorrow. Here's one from that amazing afternoon.
