Banded pennant, teneral male - in the mountains
It was all about pennants in the Georgia mountains this week - many more up there than here locally. I see very few yellow immature or female Banded's and still remember the first female I ever saw. Check out Allen's beautiful dorsal shot of an adult male - what this one will look like soon:
