lady Halloween on a HOT HOT July day

Only the 2nd female Halloween pennant that I've seen this summer - and did she love to pose in the stifling humidity! Sweltering hot - we ran into Tom - one of the new visitors who's returned to the wetlands several times lately & is a terrific photographer. The Band-winged meadowhawks were posing for both of us like crazy - I'll post shots of them soon. I had to leave this lady when the sweat was running into my eyes so badly I couldn't see. Go find a bug to hug today ...
