The installation conducted a full scale exercise that tested emergency responses to an active shooter event involving mass casualties, the recovery of chemical materials, and the efficiency of the post mass notification systems, Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017. Directorate of Emergency Services police officer, firefighters and medical responders were observed and graded by evaluators and a mock press conference at the conclusion tested APG Senior Commander Maj. Gen. Randy Taylor and APG organization leaders.
