Hever Castle, Kent

The Grade I, double-moated Hever Castle, dating from the 12th century but mainly Tudor. It was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and, much later, William Waldorf Astor whose huge collection of Roman sculpture adorns the spectacular gardens.
