Raspberry

Black Sesame, Coconut.

 

Paired with Chateau Soucherie, Coteux du Layon.

 

Notes: The black sesame came in the form of powder and a sponge. I love Chinese black sesame desserts, and this one took a whole different twist - putting it with bright and happy raspberry. The coconut sorbet, acted as the bridge between the two.

 

As you can see, there were also little meringue "kisses" that added crunch.

 

This was a very memorable combination.

 

I do not know what the white powder is (to the right of the coconut sorbet).
