After more than two years of fund raising and funding and assistance from various bodies including Southeastern rail, Network rail, the Railway Heritage Trust, the WARR Partnership, Etchingham Parish Council and Rother District Council, the redundant station buildings at Etchingham have now become a Bistro.
Originally constructed in 1852, the old Station Masters house has been unused and in a semi derelict state for over 25 years, over two years of hard work by everyone involved has transformed the building into a thriving Bistro enjoyed by rail passengers and locals.
