Post dissertation direction

The world of the future, what does it hold for technology? More specifically what does it hold for the re-animated patients of cryogenics? The promise of life after death presents an incredible opportunity for a glimpse of the future but what sort of world will they wake up in? How will today’s human vary from the human of tomorrow? Many futurists and trans humanists believe that effective reanimation will occur when nanotechnology becomes abundant.

With the advancement of nanotech, will come the need for nanotech infrastructure. The design opportunities for this would be endless and in time we won’t need to bother with fundamental nutritional resources such as multi vitamins or even food. It will all be integrated within our environment; everything we touch will feed the nano-robotics through our skin, underwater living would become viable and holding a handrail normally used to aid the climbing of stairs could now be the same as taking a breath, with respirocytes (nano red blood cells) receiving the oxygen needed for the next 4 hours of survival through this process of touch. How will infrastructure be designed for a world where everything talks to your nano robotic body?
