distorted x-mas
The scene I see from the window is blurred
The Christmas cheers seem almost unheard
Everything outside is completely distorted
The faces and bodies are oddly contorted
I reach out to where my fingertips meet
But the glass is too cold so I quickly retreat..
I continue to gaze out with bedazzled eyes
Everything starts to clear-up to my surprise
The festive scene now becomes an amber-like shade
A backdrop to the blue-lit-trees like a golden cascade
I now only see this beautiful world full of care
Full of kind people breathing the crisp fresh air
Full of people just like me..
I know now this is where I am meant to be
And it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
