Jumper on Jumper - _TNY_2174

Getting in close on this female Attulus terebratus jumping spider revealed that she had managed to overpower a smaller jumping spider which as evidenced by the black colour and bright yellow pedipalps must be one of the sun jumpers (Heliophanus sp).

 

The larger spider here has a body length of about 5 mm / .2" so the smaller one was *really* small.
