Together with my son, I visited the Nedre Mjällådalen nature reserve on June 10th (of 2025). Our main goal was to find the endangered dune tiger beetle - which we did!
Along the way, there were many other cool bugs to photograph. Like this male blue demoiselle (Calopteryx virgo) which anlong with a couple of buddies was hanging around in the low trees next to the meandering stream.
