Tropical butterflies seem quite fond of mimicking each other. Either species mimicking an unpalatable species to piggyback on its bad taste or sometimes it is mutual where two unpalatable species look the same to reinforce the warning to predators.
The appearance of this butterfly is a popular one and I am honestly not sure what species it could be. It could be one of the colour-forms of the Numata longwing (Heliconius numata bicoloratus) but also fits the look of Melinaea marsaeus mothone - and probably several more species.
