Sometimes, a cool butterfly at the Haga Ocean butterfly house chooses to land well above head height. Like this two-tailed pasha (Charaxes jasius), also known as the the foxy emperor.
Now I have plenty of reach with 360 mm focal length, but I still end up with a sort of squished look when shooting this much from below.
One cool thing about this species - which happens to be the only Charaxes species found in Europe - is that the caterpillars look *really* cool. Large and green, they have a sort of crest on their neck with four brown spikes, looking a bit dragon-like.
