Red in the Sun - _TNY_5044

Late August (of 2021) visit to Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta national park and there were quite a lot of dragonflies all over the place.

 

This male vagrant darter (Sympetrum vulgatum), also known as the moustached darter, was enjoying the sunshine at the southern tip of the Nedre Dammen pond.
