Here is a close shot of the side of the head on a copper chafer (Protaetia cuprea), also known as the northern rose chafer.

 

I think these guys are really cool, like little metallic tanks on the flowers. This particular one was on a leaf in my mother-in-law's garden outside Härnösand, Sweden, back in 2021 and photographed at 3:1 magnification.
