Angelic on Burdock - _TNY_8910

You *could* describe this a shot of a fly on a flower, but I believe that is to sell it a little short, right?

 

Let's begin with using proper names: This is a yellow-winged bristleshin (Phaonia angelicae) on a woolly burdock (Arctium tomentosum).

 

This is actually a bit of a favourite flower for me - any bug landed on such a colour bomb makes for an interesting shot.
