Vast Provisions - _TNY_7656
A Stictoleptura maculicornis flower longhorn beetle (no common English name), also known as Paracorymbia maculicornis which I found eating its way across a very pink thistle in the Paradiset Nature Reserve on Midsummer's Eve 2024.
There are more than one species with very similar colouration, but it is still really easy to identify this one and the explanation is in the scientific name. "Maculicornis" - marked horns. This species is the only one of them which have brown spots on the antennae, the others have them completely black instead.
This little buddy seemed to have found a good spot with loads to eat, right?
