Green with Orange Eyes - _TNY_7320

The large redeye (Erythromma najas) has gotten its name from the *very* red eyes of the otherwise blue male, but the females like this one have reddish eyes.

 

I found this one on a cow parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris) near the old millers cottage at Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park, Sweden.
